For some reason I like signs - especially hand written signs. They say a lot about the business and a lot about the person who wrote them.

This is one from the bathrooms of a Starbucks in the heart of Grenwich Village. This starbucks is the single best place I’ve been to in NY for people watching. From homeless people and panhandlers to gorgeous women to big groups of flamboyant black guys that congregate there each night – it never disappoints. This sign seems to indicate people aren’t overly respectful of their bathrooms…

Old Picture of the Day - Every day this guy posts an old photo, and writes a bit about it. Really gives you some ideas about life in “the old days”

Stuff White People Like - A sarcastic look at young, well to do white people. Awesome.

This is an awesome story about a guy creating a fictitious restaurant, submitting a fake wine list,fake menu and then being given a wine spectator award of excellence. Yet more proof that “wine experts” are full of it…
