I saw this banner a few weeks on Youtube. It was animated, so that the girl moved and a chat message popped up. Obviously designed to make you think some girl was chatting live with you. This is pretty much no different than a spammy pop up that says “Do you want to remove spyware?” With a yes / no button that starts a download.

Surprised Google would accept an ad like this in their world of Do No Evil….

I was checking the share price of Google a few months ago and saw this ad pop up when I typed “goog” into the search box…..pretty clever.

Wonder how much it costs to get your bras on coffee cups.

Showtime has a new series called “The Tudors”. To help promote it, they wrapped the entire facade of the NY Sheraton to look like a castle. Now I guess it made me stop, take a few pictures and write about it – but does the hundreds of thousands of dollars they spend on something like this pay off?
