Note to Self: Get in the Herb Business

We grow some vegetables on our porch during the summer - tomatoes, basil and some beans. Last year we grew basil from seeds -a pack of about a hundred seeds costs about $2. This year we were late so bought the basil already started - for $4 per plant. A seed that costs maybe a penny or two sells for $4 a few weeks later after you put it in some dirt.  I like those margins.
